Brio Ultrasonics' BR-15 machine is intended for deblocking RPG lenses from their arbor in the laboratory.
The debonding of lenses blocked with a water-soluble wax on Teflon supports is usually done manually. The loss of time and the risk of damage to the lens are significant.
With the BR-15, the operation is
- Fully automatic
- The deblocking is done by ultrasound at a controlled temperature
- Up to 24 lenses can be peeled off at the same time
- A robotic arm allows precise control of the soaking time and a up and down movement of the supports in the bath.
