Multistage Ultrasonic Cleaning Machine for RGP Contact Lenses

Brio Ultrasonics' BR-15 machine is intended for deblocking RPG lenses from their arbor in the laboratory.

The debonding of lenses blocked with a water-soluble wax on Teflon supports is usually done manually. The loss of time and the risk of damage to the lens are significant.

With the BR-15, the operation is

  • Fully automatic
  • The deblocking is done by ultrasound at a controlled temperature
  • Up to 24 lenses can be peeled off at the same time
  • A robotic arm allows precise control of the soaking time and a up and down movement of the supports in the bath.
  • Tank heating and temperature monitoring controlled by the programmable processor.
